Waffle towels
Waffle weave towels are a practical and versatile solution for everyday life. They combine naturalness, functionality, and a distinctive texture, making them perfect for both home and vacation.
We sew towels from high-quality 100% cotton waffle fabric, which is characterized by a textured surface with raised squares. The name „waffle fabric“ comes from this very pattern—the fabric’s surface resembles a waffle with indentations and raised squares. This texture not only makes the fabric visually interesting and textured, but also serves an important practical function: it absorbs moisture exceptionally well and dries quickly. As a result, the towels remain lightweight, comfortable, and hygienic even with frequent use.
We offer towels made from two different waffle fabrics. The first option is Greek waffle fabric with a large square pattern, characterized by a stronger and more voluminous texture, and an especially striking and „lively“ appearance. The second option is a fine square patterned waffle fabric (checkerboard weave), which is more understated and delicate in appearance. Both options retain all the advantages of waffle fabric - they absorb moisture excellently, dry quickly, and remain soft and pleasant to use.
The quality of the fabric deserves special attention. We use a denser and more voluminous waffle weave fabric than the usual thin variants found on the market. Our fabric is fluffier, more „alive,“ and has a more expressive texture, making the towels look high-quality, feel softer, and more pleasant against the skin. After washing, the fabric's structure becomes even more expressive – the squares open up, become more voluminous and softer, making the towels even cozier and more pleasant to use. Waffle weave towels have excellent breathability and moisture absorption – they „breathe,“ effectively absorb moisture, and dry quickly. This makes them an ideal choice for both home and active use.
Our selection includes towels in various sizes: Large towels are suitable for wrapping around your body after a shower or bath, taking to the sauna or spa, using at the beach as a towel or mat, and for wrapping your hair after washing. Small towels are ideal as hand towels in the kitchen or bathroom, as face towels, and for everyday use, such as drying dishes in the kitchen. Thanks to their versatility, waffle weave towels become indispensable in everyday life, and they are convenient to use at home, take on trips, vacations, or to the gym.
All of the waffle fabrics we use are OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified, which confirms their safety and absence of harmful substances. The towels are also suitable for sensitive skin and can be used daily.
